Activity OverviewMultiple Sclerosis (MS) is, in many respects, a disease of uncertainty. It has no cure, clinical presentations are variable and transient, and no definitive measures exist to monitor disease activity. Given the heterogeneity of this disease, it can be difficult to apply standard practices and emerging clinical trial results to individual patients. This live CME-certified activity will utilize clinical cases to discuss questions related to prognosis, new and alternative treatments, treatment failure, progressive forms of MS, and symptom management. The case-based format will allow participants to explore strategies to deliver more customized care for their patients with MS. With a highly interactive approach enabling the capture of audience preferences, the faculty will adapt the activity content to best meet the educational needs of the participants at the time of the live activity. |
